The photographs and description should tell most of the story, including hairlines to the dials, small dents and inscriptions. (occasionally inscriptions offer provenance as to the history of the watch).

Please note that all watches are "ticking", however we make no claims as to their timekeeping ability, nor do we offer any guarantees. These items are antique pieces of history, there to be respected, cherished and enjoyed, even celebrated at the marvels of engineering and workmanship carried out in such remarkable circumstances, an era that has long since disappeared of a time when pride in creation and manufacture was king that is sadly scarce in our modern day.

Should you be on the hunt for a special watch please feel free to get in touch as we may be able to source it for you.

We select items that cannot be found regularly and specialise in the unusual or rare items. Vintage, or antique in many cases, so may on occasion have some age related wear. Obvious things will be pointed out in the description, should there be any repairs or small imperfections and we will endeavour to illustrate these in the photographs too. Please enjoy browsing and hopefully you will feel the same passion that we do about so many of the items, trying to picture the people that would have been fortunate enough to own these from new, were they bought as a gift from a loved one, or for a wealthy individual who wanted to impress his dinner party guests? There are so many stories behind most antiques that if they could talk we would be enthralled by their tales I'm sure.

The selection of jewellery we offer is clearly described, some antique, some "vintage" or in the style of etc. We describe jewellery to the best of our knowledge. We test for gold and diamonds and will state stones where we are sure or have had expert advice. Some of the less expensive pieces will have a lesser description on the stones if we are not sure, for example a clear stone that is not diamond if we are unsure we will list it as just a clear stone, it may be a white sapphire, a CZ, spinel or paste, but we will leave that to you the buyer to decide. In simple terms though, if you see a ring that you would like and it is a price you are prepared to pay then simply enjoy it for what it is. None of our jewellery is new, it is all pre-owned. There is something for most tastes and pockets and most can be resized too.

We hope you enjoy browsing the website and we will endeavour to keep it up to date with new treasures as we find them.
