Extraordinary 18 carat gold 18th Century basket watch. This extremely rare watch features a beautifully made gold basket with a portrait to the top. When lifted the lid reveals a small French verge watch and a small memento compartment in the base for a lock of hair or other keepsake. Made approximately 1780. Code 970ZAEE. £5,995.00
