Girard-Perregaux 18 Carat Gold Cabriolet Key Wind Pocket Watch
This superb example of a cabriolet pocket watch converts from an open face timepiece into a full hunter. Due to the gimbal type mechanism it actually also rotates the dial 45 degrees so the dial is always the correct way whether opened on the side for a hunter or viewed from the top as an open face. The dial has a full crest and the makers name along with a tiny sub seconds dial. The movement itself is of the quality expected of the man famous for his triple bridge movements. He was awarded a gold medal at the Paris exhibition for his patented design Tourbillon with three gold bridges.
